Bio C
A high potency formula containing citrus bioflavonoids extract to help boost its action in the body. Vitamin C helps to reduce the severity and duration of colds. As a potent antioxidant it also helps to reduce the risk of cell damage attributed to free radicals. The human body does not manufacture its own vitamin C and so it must be sourced from our diet. Stress of all kinds, including ill health and emotional stress, increases the excretion of vitamin C from the body and therefore raises the need for this vitamin. If dietary intake is low or an individual’s need is particularly high, vitamin supplementation may be of benefit.
Evening Primrose Oil + Fish Oil
Blackmores Evening Primrose Oil + Fish Oil is a source of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids which are important for the structure and function of cell membranes. They are also essential for nerve function and growth. Essential fatty acids are important precursors of prostaglandins which reduce the inflammatory response.
CoQ10
CoQ10 is a coenzyme that occurs naturally in every cell in the body where it is involved with the production of cellular energy. CoQ10 levels decline with exercise and as we age. It assists in maintaining heart health, in particular heart muscle function. CoQ10 reduces oxidation of low density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol (so-called ‘bad’ cholesterol).
Echinacea Forte
A potent echinacea supplement specifically formulated to provide the recognised therapeutic dose of Echinacea purpurea used in the published German commission E monograph. Echinacea has traditionally been used for the relief of symptoms of mild upper respiratory tract infections such as colds and flu.
Ginkgo Brahmi
The memory enhancing and cognitive effects of Brahmi (Bacopa monniera) have been attributed to the active components saponins, in particular bacosides A and B.

Proseren
Results of clinical trials indicate that saw palmetto can assist in the relief of symptoms of BPH. The actual mechanisms of action of saw palmetto in BPH are still not clear, but are thought to be due to its ability to reduce inflammation and oedema and reduce smooth muscle spasm. Saw palmetto has been shown to improve residual urine volume and urinary tract symptoms, such as night time urination and poor urine flow.
