Scientific Research
Not content with the stream of success stories and anecdotal evidence of it’s effectiveness in treating Osteoarthritis, we wanted to put Rose-Hip Vital under the scientific microscope. To do this we (like conventional medicines) established controlled double-blind placebo trials – specific to Rose-Hip Vital – overseen and carried-out by orthopaedic experts.
Before the trials we were confident…when the results came in we were thrilled. Below are four of the clinical trials that have been completed. More are already being done and initial results are beyond all expectations.
PATIENTS: 112 patients with osteoarthritis of the hip, knee, neck or wrist were randomly allocated treatment with either Rose-Hip Vital or a placebo for a total of six months. In this double-blind cross-over test, Group A received 5 placebo capsules twice daily for three months and then immediately switched to identical capsules with Rose-Hip Vital for another three months… and vice versa with Group B.
AIM: To study whether Rose-Hip Vital would reduce pain and stiffness of osteoarthritic joints and improve the daily activities of patients, and evaluate if possible reduction in symptoms was followed by a change in quality of life parameters.
CONCLUSION: The data suggests that Rose-Hip Vital significantly reduces pain and stiffness and augments general well-being in patients with osteoarthritis. The results also suggest the action of Rose-Hip Vital is protracted. No patients reported any side effects.
