What can I do about Fatigue?
The most important thing you can do to alleviate fatigue is to ensure you have a nutritious diet and get plenty of sleep. The body is able to function optimally when it is firing on all cylinders, made possible from good nutrition and sound rest. A diet high in fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, low fat dairy, fish and lean animal meats gives you a good level of nutrients needed to function at optimal levels.
When the diet is lacking, which is often the case in this day and age, it is important to seek alternate sources of the essential vitamins and minerals needed for everyday functioning of the body. It may be wise to take a good quality multivitamin to ensure you are getting these vitamins and minerals everyday. There are also other nutrients such as herbs, whole food supplements, concentrated juice extracts and nutrients that may be of benefit, depending on the cause of your fatigue. Nutrients such as Co Enzyme Q10 can be highly beneficial for the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, where this CoQ10 aids in producing ATP (energy) in your body's cells, reducing the debilitating fatigue felt in the muscles of these sufferers.
To be most effective, nutritional supplements work better in combination. It may be more beneficial to take a variety of Herbs or Nutrients for more rapid and complete healing...
