Why Liver Cleansing?
Symptoms of liver disease include nausea, malaise, vomiting, fatigue, loss of appetite, itching, a yellow coloring of the skin or the eyes, pain in the right upper part of the belly and dark urine. The best way to determine whether your liver has been compromised in with some simple blood tests. You can see that by maintaining a healthy liver you should be able to avoid diseases that are attributed by a poorly maintained liver.
How Can I Go About Cleansing My Liver?
It is really importan to drink a lot of water, not only for general hydration, but also because water is essential for flushing your body of toxins. Try to drink at least 8 glasses of unchilled filtered (non-fluoridated) water daily. IMPORTANT RULES THAT WILL ENHANCE LIVER FUNCTION!
Do not over-eat.
Do not eat late at night or within 2 hours of retiring.
Do not drink with main meals. Wait an hour before and after eating.
Always chew your food slowly and thoroughly before swallowing.

All sprouted seeds, grains and legumes - Mung, Alfalfa, mixed salad etc. All raw and steamed vegetables (including potatoes) - best to eat later in the day. All fresh fruits, raw nuts & seeds; almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds are best. All whole grains, rolled oats, brown rice, rye, barley, buckwheat, linseed meal, millet etc. Wholemeal bread, wholemeal pasta, brown rice. Sun dried fruits - Apricots, figs, dates, peaches, sultanas etc. All fresh vegetable and fruit juices. Herbal teas with pure water (do not add milk or sugar).
You can continue using a Liver Cleanser for as long as you feel there is a need to support your digestive system. This will enhance your digestion and help keep you regular. If symptoms persist, you should consult a Health Care Professional.
