Australian Deliveries

 

Shipping Methods:

Regular Post

  • FLAT RATE SHIPPING up to approx. 4kg of product weight = $9.95
  • Additional charges apply after initial flat rate weight limit is reached. These charges will be displayed prior to payment.
  • Approximately 3-7 business days delivery from dispatch date. This can vary depending on your location in Australia, customers in metro areas experience faster deliveries, non-metro and rural areas may take longer.  
  • Approximate delivery times via regular post:

    ACT: 2-5 business days
    NSW: 1-4 business days
    QLD: 2-5 business days
    VIC: 2-5 business days
    WA: 7 business days
    SA: 4-6 business days
    NT: 7 business days
    TAS: 4-7 business days

Express Post

  • Prices depend on weight and destination. These charges will be displayed prior to payment.
  • Approximately 4 business days delivery from dispatch date. This can vary depending on your location in Australia, customers in metro areas experience faster deliveries, non-metro and rural areas may take longer. Most metro cities experience next day delivery via Express Post.

Please be aware:

  • Product weight is the actual weight of a product on the scale. For example 1kg powder product may weigh approximately 1.2kg on the scale in it's packaging.
  • the approximate delivery time reflects the transit time once a parcel is dispatched from our warehouse. If for any reason an item on your order is out of stock or unavailable, you will be notified. You will also be notified once your order is dispatched so you have clear picture of when to receive the parcel.

Shipping Service

Discount Vitamins Express uses Australia Post for most deliveries. However in some cases, a courier may be used within the Sydney Metro area.

 

Days to ship

All items on DVE are marked with an estimated timeframe for dispatch. This can be seen by the statement "usually ships within x Business day(s)." (x being the number of days). We list this estimate on the product page, shopping cart and order invoice. This is not the delivery timeframe, this is the timeframe we allow for that item to be dispatched from our warehouse. If an order has a combination of products with different days to ship, the order will be dispatched when all items are ready to ship. Once your order is ready to ship, it is dispatched via your selected shipping method. The 'days to ship' for an item may change at anytime without notice depending on stock availability.

 

Free Shipping Offers

There are multiple ways free shipping is achieved on a product/order.

1) Some products are marked individually with ‘FREE SHIPPING’. This allows free shipping for that product within Australia. Adding this product to an order of mixed products will grant the order free shipping up to approx. 4kg.

2) FREE SHIPPING for orders over $199 - Any order (delivered within Australia) over $199.00, and does not exceed approx. 4kg of product weight, receives free shipping. Free shipping amount target is based on the total spend on products (not including shipping costs). 

If your order is over 4kg of product weight (including product packaging), some discounted shipping fees may apply.

Free shipping offers are sent via regular mail and apply to Australian orders only. 

 

Heat SensitiveProducts

Heat sensitive (or refrigerated) products are sent with a Free cold pack. We do not use a refrigerated delivery service and therefore we highly recommend selecting Express Post when ordering Heat Sensitive products.

 

Chocolate

Please understand when ordering chocolate bars, there may be a possibility of melting during transit. Therefore we are not liable if this occurs. We recommend selecting Express Post and not requesting the parcel to be left if not home (so the parcel is not left in the sun). Please also consider delivery timesframes to your location from Sydney before making your purchase.

 

Delivery Address

When placing your order, please ensure your delivery address is correct. If sending to a business address, please ensure you include the company name.

 

Authority to leave parcel (formerly - Delivery Instructions)
Please note, all deliveries within Australia require a signature on delivery for security reasons. If you provide a delivery instructions that waives a signature on delivery (eg: leave parcel at front door), you are accepting liability for the parcel. This means that in the unfortunate event that the parcel were to go missing, there is no possibility of a replacement or refund. We will not be able to provide you with further information other than the tracking number.

Terms as at April 2017:
I understand by granting authority to leave my parcel, that no signature will be collected and I am accepting liability for the parcel.

 

Not home at the time of delivery?

If no one is at the specified delivery address to receive the parcel, a card will be left so you can collect your parcel from your nearest post office (if delivered by Australia Post). If the parcel is being delivered by a courier and no one is at the specified delivery address to receive the parcel, a card will be left so you can call the courier to arrange a more suitable time for delivery. Sometimes cards are accidentally discarded, so if you believe your parcel should have arrived, please check the tracking number online and with your local post office as your parcel could be waiting for you.

 

Failure of Delivery

Discount Vitamins Express is not responsible for failure of delivery of an order due to an incorrect or insufficient address being supplied. If sending to a business address, please ensure you include the company name.

 

Return To Sender

All Parcels returned to sender (Discount Vitamins Express) due to incorrect Address supplied by the customer, Acceptance Refusal, or unclaimed from post office will incur a $10.00 return fee. Customers who wish to have their parcel re-sent to them, will need to pay a re-postage fee (on top of the return fee).

 

Damaged Goods

If goods are damaged in transit, we may request photos of the damaged goods for assessment. Upon assessing, It is at our discretion to replace or refund the goods.

 

International Deliveries

 

Shipping Methods:

Discount Vitamins Express uses a variety of international mail services depending on your lcation and the type of shipping method you select when placing your order.

The shipping methods available for selection are:

  1. Regular Air Mail - Tracking NOT included (Approximately 21 - 28 business days delivery from dispatch date).

    If selecting Regular Air Mail, Tracking is NOT included. If a tracking number is supplied, it is supplied for proof of dispatch purposes only, but is not to be regarded as full tracking and may not show results for final delivery. When a Regular Air mail parcel lands in the destination country, the local mail service in that country is responsible for the remainder of the delivery. The local mail service of the destination country may scan the parcel into their system. Therefore we recommend to check the website of the local mail service in the destination country to follow the remainder of the delivery.

  2. Registered Courier - Includes Tracking + Signature on delivery (Approximately 21 business days delivery from dispatch date).

    This is the most secure delivery service we offer for international parcels, which includes tracking with a signature on delivery.

Please be aware, the approximate delivery time reflects the transit time once a parcel is dispatched from our warehouse. If for any reason an item on your order is out of stock or unavailable, you will be notified. You will also be notified once your order is dispatched so you have clear picture of when to receive the parcel. 

Please allow up to approximately 5 business days for tracking numbers to be active.

Customs & taxes

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that what they order (and the quantity) is not restricted in their destination country. Discount Vitamins Express does not take responsibilty for the actions of customs in any destination country. If a parcel is seized due to restricted items or for tax purposes, it is the customer's responsibility to be in contact with their customs office and resolve the issue. If a parcel is returned to Discount Vitamins Express due to a customs seizure, a return fee will be charged to the customer. This return fee will be the same cost that you initially paid for the shipping of your order. Customers who wish to have their parcel re-sent to them, will need to pay a re-postage fee (on top of the return fee). If you do not want the parcel resent, you will have the option of a credit or exchange. However, to receive a credit or exchange, the products returned must be received unopened, undamaged and in a resellable condition. The exchange or credit value will be for the cost of the product(s) only, less the return shipping fee, and less a restocking fee of 10% or $10.00 (whichever is the greater).

Free Shipping Offers

Free Shipping offers apply to Australian and New Zealand orders only.

FREE SHIPPING for orders over $199 to New Zealand - Any order (delivered to New Zealand) that reaches over $199.00 and does not exceed approx. 1kg of product weight, receives free shipping. Free shipping amount target is based on the total spend on products (not including shipping). For example (if free shipping is for orders over $199.00), if products purchased are valued at $199 or more, you will receive free shipping. If you spend less than $199.00 on products, free shipping will not apply. If your order is over approx. 1kg in product weight (including product packaging), standard international shipping charges apply.

Free Shipping orders to New Zealand are sent via Regular Air Mail. We will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage for any parcels sent via regular mail.

 

Additional Post Charges

Postage costs may very depending on weight and volume. If your order exceeds the maximum weight for the standard postage options, we will contact you via the email address supplied prior to your order being dispatched. At this point, you will be quoted the additional postage cost and be given the option to proceed with the order or to cancel the order. Please ensure that your email address is valid for contacting you.

 

Damages Goods

If goods are damaged in transit, we may request photos of the damaged goods for assessment. Upon assessing, It is at our discretion to replace or refund the goods.

Free standard shipping for this product within Australia.

Adding this product to an order of mixed products will grant the order free shipping up to approx. 4kg.

HEAT SENSITIVE

This product will be sent with a free cold pack.
