Test your saliva with litmus paper and note the changes in your pH.

Keep yourself as close to 7.4 as you can for continued good health.

Test yourself first thing in the morning. You get a more accurate reading if you test yourself as soon as you wake up. No eating, drinking or cleaning your teeth.

To Test Saliva: First thing in the morning or two hours after eating. Spit into a spoon, dip the pH strip into the fluid and wait 5 seconds to read your pH.

Results: A reading of pH 7.0+ is ideal, pH 6.5 is acidic and below 6.0 is very acidic. Test 2-3 times per week to get an average reading.

Close container immediately and tightly after use.
Do not touch the test areas.
